The Lighthouse Keeper
The Wallasey Hermit		 John Thompson Francis was head keeper at New Brighton lighthouse from 1875 to 1902.  His funeral was attended by the Marine Surveyor of the Mersey Docks & Harbour Board and many colleagues and friends, including the keepers of Bidston lighthouse.
